Our team contributed to the facilities master plan for Red Rocks Community College, covering both the Arvada and Lakewood, Colorado campuses.
The planning process incorporated input from faculty, staff, and students through surveys and in-person workshops conducted at each campus.
The master planning effort began with a comprehensive discovery phase, including gathering existing site information, conducting site visits, and meeting with stakeholders to understand operational needs and infrastructure conditions. This work informed a detailed evaluation of the campuses, where existing infrastructure was assessed and performance grades were assigned to identify strengths, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Based on this analysis, a range of redevelopment alternatives was developed, culminating in a preferred scenario addressing both immediate and long-term infrastructure needs. The plan outlined multiple options for upgrades and improvements, considering functionality, efficiency, and sustainability.
The process concluded with a final master plan and report, consolidating findings, recommendations, and a clear roadmap for future development and investment across both campuses.
