S. A. Miro, Inc. provided civil and structural engineering services for the latest ADA upgrades at Red Rocks Amphitheater, addressing areas of the venue that were previously non-compliant.
Our work included remediating slope discrepancies in the Upper Plaza with a new slab over high-density fill, elevated platforms, and wall extensions, as well as installing anchorage elements to support new catenary lighting.
We also designed new restroom and shelter facilities in the Upper Plaza and Upper South Lot, regraded the South Access Ramp with additional support beams above restrooms, and reconfigured Row 1 with an enlarged walkway opening in the South Stage wall and reconstruction of the stage face.
These improvements enhanced accessibility while preserving the functionality and iconic character of the venue.
