Through close collaboration with landscape architects and project owners, our team provides the necessary engineering assistance for parks and recreation projects.

We help turn park and recreation designs into buildable solutions by addressing civil needs such as site access, parking, grading, and utilities, while supporting the structural systems that bring park features to life. Our work spans both underlying infrastructure and visible elements, allowing us to support projects from concept through construction with a coordinated, practical approach.

Structural engineering for park facilities ranges from utilitarian to highly expressive, and we work across that full spectrum. This includes shelters, restrooms, bridges, sports and maintenance facilities, as well as sculptural features, amphitheaters, performance venues, water features, and play environments. We collaborate closely with architects and landscape architects to ensure structural systems are efficient, durable, and aligned with the design intent.

We support project owners and landscape architects by improving coordination and reducing gaps throughout the project. Our work includes designing site circulation, integrating grading with the landscape, coordinating utilities for long-term performance, and addressing ADA requirements for accessible paths and parking. We also help teams develop creative or themed solutions through efficient structural strategies and material selections that support durability and fit the surrounding environment.

Early involvement helps identify constraints, reduce redesign, and align site and structural decisions with project goals. Our experience spans public and private parks, from urban spaces to natural environments, with a focus on creating functional, well-integrated spaces that perform over time.
